備受等候的《薩爾達傳說：田野之息》續作，終究也沒逃過這兩年遊戲行業的延期紀律。製作人青沼英二稱開辟團隊需要更多時候來打造遊戲「特殊」的體驗，在申明短片中他也再次介紹新作的舞台會從海拉魯大地延長到天空，玩家將能追隨林克取得更多之前沒有的遊玩樂趣。就在適才任天堂對外證實，這款原定於 2022 年推出的作品將會延期至 2023 年春季發售。
